Heritager Mass Poster.jpg

For a number of years now, the community of St. Joseph celebrates the heritage of our brothers and sisters. Our community truly reflects the diversity of Queens and the world. Our members represent over 50 different countries and islands from the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

One of the most special celebrations is our Annual African Heritage Mass. This year the Mass will be said on Sunday, August 25 at 10:45 AM in our church.

The Mass will be a very vibrant example of African faith, expressed through clothing, music, singing, and dance. It will be a Mass with parts said in several languages.

After the Mass, the entire congregation and all guests are welcome to join us to share the food and fellowship with all present there, no matter where they are from. We invite all participants to dress up in their original/traditional clothing and thus celebrate the African Heritage with us.
